Terms and Conditions
The “SINGAPORE Photography Contest” (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is organized and administered by Indians in Singapore (indianssg) to celebrate the vibrant culture of Singapore. By participating in this Contest, you (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”) agree to adhere to the following Terms & Conditions.
Contest Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all individuals interested in photography who are currently residing in Singapore.
Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Submission of Entries:
- To participate in the Contest, Participants must submit their photographs via the official application forms provided by Indians in Singapore. Only online submissions will be accepted.
Entries should focus on the following themes: landscape, food, and aerial photos, but they must be related to Singapore and its culture.
Originality and Ownership:
- Participants declare that the photographs they submit are original and have been taken by them personally. The use of stock images or photographs taken by others is strictly prohibited.
Participants shall retain the copyright to their submitted photographs. However, by entering the Contest, Participants grant Indians in Singapore a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and otherwise use their submitted photographs for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with the Contest.
Judging and Winners:
- Winning entries will be determined based on the total number of likes received on the photographs, as posted on the indianssg social media channels.
The decision of the judges and the Contest organizers is final, and no correspondence regarding the results will be entertained.
Prizes:
- Prizes will be awarded to the winning Participants. Participants must be physically present in Singapore to receive their prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
Legal and Copyright Issues:
- Indians in Singapore is not responsible for any legal or copyright issues that may arise from the submission or publication of photographs in the Contest.
Participants are encouraged to ensure that their submissions do not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.
Publicity and Promotion:
- Participants agree to their name, photograph, and the fact that they participated in the Contest being used for promotional purposes without compensation.
General Terms:
- The Contest organizers reserve the right to cancel or amend the Contest and these Terms & Conditions at their discretion without prior notice.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have read, understood, and complied with all Terms and conditions.
